Mk Engineers conducted a survey and submitted a detailed report outlining their recommendations and expected savings in gas usage.

Dave Bell director of engineering authorised the installation of the MK equipment to manage the boilers in the main plant room. Following the installation the equipment ran for a trial period in order to determine the exact saving on gas usage. On completion the finding confirmed a saving of over 30%

From September 2006 to July 2011 MK Engineers have made regular calls and maintained the equipment, Dave Bell said ‘’ This installation has made a significant impact on our gas usage. On average we have saved 32% per year in this hotel.
MK equipment was also installed in other hotels within the Park Plaza group.

MK Energy have now entered into a new contract with the Park Plaza Group and as part of their commitment have replace all the existing equipment with the latest models at no extra cost.
